Our story is rooted in a rich family legacy, starting with our Nigeria-based sister brand, Zoé Qu’an. Established in 2020 during the global lockdown, Zoé Qu’an emerged as a beacon of hope and creativity in challenging times.

This spirit of unwavering determination comes from Vicky Palm, our founder’s mother. Growing up in the serene seaside village of Ada, Ghana, Vicky crafted her own clothes, driven by a passion for textiles. Her journey took her to Botswana, where she balanced teaching during the day with creating beautiful African attire at night.

For over 60 years, Vicky Palm built a foundation of dedication and exquisite craftsmanship that profoundly shapes Shop Kwedu’s vision today. Her unwavering commitment to quality and her pioneering spirit are the very threads woven into the fabric of our brand, Shop Kwedu, Formerly known as “Vicky Oh!”.
